Site leasing involves leasing antenna space to wireless service providers and managing rooftop and tower sites under various contractual arrangements. SBA operates domestically in the United States and its territories, and internationally in 12 markets across South America, Central America, and Africa, with significant operations in Brazil (approximately 30% of international towers) and Guatemala (approximately 10% of international towers). The company also operates a complementary site development business in the United States, providing end-to-end services including network pre-design, site audits, zoning and permitting assistance, tower and site construction, and antenna installation. Primary customers include T-Mobile (31.1% of 2025 revenue), AT&T Wireless (20.3%), and Verizon Wireless (15.1%).
