Weyerhaeuser Company is a real estate investment trust (REIT) engaged in the ownership and management of timberlands and the manufacture and sale of wood products. The company operates through three reportable segments: Timberlands, Wood Products, and Real Estate, Energy and Natural Resources (REEN). The Timberlands segment includes the management of approximately 10.8 million acres of timberlands. The Wood Products segment manufactures and sells lumber, plywood, oriented strand board, engineered wood products, and complementary building products. The REEN segment is focused on generating revenues through real estate sales, forest carbon credits, energy development (including wind and solar), and other natural resource monetization. The company is committed to sustainable forestry practices, environmental stewardship, and responsible land management while delivering superior returns to shareholders through dividend payments and capital appreciation. Weyerhaeuser serves customers globally with a strong emphasis on environmental and social responsibility.
