The Company operates through four segments: Marmaxx (TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Sierra in the U.S. with 2,748 stores), HomeGoods (HomeGoods and Homesense in the U.S. with 1,042 stores), TJX Canada (Winners, HomeSense, and Marshalls with 589 stores), and TJX International (TK Maxx and Homesense in Europe with 747 stores, and TK Maxx in Australia with 88 stores). The Company offers a rapidly changing assortment of quality, fashionable, brand name and designer merchandise at prices generally 20% to 60% below full-price retailers' regular prices every day. TJX's business model is built on opportunistic buying strategies, flexible inventory management, and a logistics network designed to deliver merchandise efficiently. The Company acquires merchandise from over 21,000 vendors globally, taking advantage of market opportunities such as manufacturer overruns, closeouts, and special productions. With approximately 377,000 employees globally, TJX operates with a low-cost structure, focusing on rapid inventory turnover and delivering a treasure hunt shopping experience that encourages frequent customer visits.
