As of January 30, 2026, Lowe's operated 1,759 home improvement stores and outlets in the United States, representing approximately 196 million square feet of retail selling space, plus over 540 branch locations in the United States and Canada, including current year acquisitions of Foundation Building Materials and Artisan Design Group. The Company operates as an omnichannel retailer serving individual homeowners, renters, and professional customers through in-store, online, on-site, and branch channels. Lowe's offers a comprehensive line of home improvement products across categories including Appliances, Seasonal & Outdoor Living, Lumber, Lawn & Garden, Hardware, Kitchens & Bath, Building Materials, Rough Plumbing, Paint, Millwork, Tools, Electrical, Flooring, and Décor, with a typical store stocking approximately 37,000 items. The Company provides installation services through independent contractors and third-party providers, expanded product warranties and protection plans, and operates over 120 supply chain facilities including regional distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and cross-dock terminals. Founded in 1921 and incorporated in North Carolina in 1952, Lowe's has been publicly traded since 1961 and executes its Total Home strategy focused on driving Pro penetration, accelerating online sales, expanding home services, creating a loyalty ecosystem, and increasing space productivity.
