The Company operates through three reportable segments: Paint Stores Group (specialty paint stores serving architectural and industrial contractors and do-it-yourself homeowners), Consumer Brands Group (manufactures and distributes architectural paint, stains, varnishes, industrial products, wood finishes, and related products to retailers and distributors), and Performance Coatings Group. The Company's principal products include architectural paint, protective and marine products, OEM product finishes, stains, varnishes, industrial coatings, wood preservatives, applicators, corrosion inhibitors, aerosols, caulks, and adhesives. With global headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, Sherwin-Williams branded products are sold exclusively through a chain of more than 5,000 company-operated stores and branches, while other brands are sold through mass merchandisers, home centers, independent paint dealers, hardware stores, automotive retailers, and industrial distributors in more than 120 countries.
