As of May 31, 2026, the Company also had 167 restaurants operated by independent third parties pursuant to area development and franchise agreements, four restaurants operating under contractual agreements, and one restaurant jointly owned with a third party and operated independently. Darden manages its restaurant brands as operating segments aggregated into four reportable segments: Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Fine Dining (Ruth's Chris, The Capital Grille, and Eddie V's), and Other Business (Yard House, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Chuy's, Seasons 52, Bahama Breeze, The Capital Burger, and franchise operations). The Company operates principally in full-service dining in the United States with external sales derived principally from food and beverage. Darden achieved record total sales of $13.2 billion in fiscal 2026.
