Darden Restaurants, Inc. is a full-service restaurant company that owns and operates a diverse portfolio of restaurant brands. As of May 25, 2025, the Company owned and operated 2,159 restaurants through subsidiaries in the United States and Canada. The brands include Olive Garden (the largest full-service Italian restaurant operator in the U.S.), LongHorn Steakhouse (a full-service steakhouse), Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen (casual dining featuring American favorites cooked from scratch), Chuy's (authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex), Yard House (American menu with craft beers), Ruth's Chris Steak House (fine dining steakhouse), The Capital Grille (fine dining steakhouse in major metropolitan cities), Seasons 52 (casually sophisticated grill and wine bar with seasonal menu), Eddie V's Prime Seafood (fine dining seafood and steaks), Bahama Breeze (Caribbean-inspired casual dining), and The Capital Burger (development-stage luxe burger concept). The Company also had 154 restaurants operated by independent third parties under area development and franchise agreements and 4 restaurants operating under contractual agreements. Darden operates primarily in the full-service dining segment and manages its business around four reportable segments: Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Fine Dining (Ruth's Chris, The Capital Grille, Eddie V's), and Other Business (Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Chuy's, Yard House, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, The Capital Burger, and franchise operations). The Company's operating philosophy focuses on providing outstanding guest experiences rooted in culinary innovation, attentive service, and engaging atmosphere enabled by quality people. In fiscal 2025, Darden generated total sales of $12.1 billion from continuing operations, with net earnings from continuing operations of $1.05 billion.
