Copart, Inc. is a leading global provider of online auctions and vehicle remarketing services. The Company operates through two reportable segments: U.S. and International. Copart… provides vehicle sellers, primarily insurance companies but also dealers, individuals, charities, rental car companies, banks, finance companies, and fleet operators, with a full range of services to process and sell vehicles primarily over the internet through its Virtual Bidding Third Generation (VB3) internet auction-style sales technology platform. The Company sells vehicles principally to licensed vehicle dismantlers, rebuilders, repair licensees, used vehicle dealers, exporters, and the general public. In the U.S., Canada, Brazil, Ireland, Finland, UAE, Oman, and Bahrain, Copart operates primarily as an agent, deriving revenue from auction and auction-related sales transaction fees. In the U.K., Germany, and Spain, the Company operates both as an agent and on a principal basis, in some cases purchasing salvage vehicles outright. Service offerings include online seller access, salvage estimation services, transportation services, vehicle inspection stations, title processing, loan payoff services, and flexible vehicle processing programs including Consignment, Percentage Incentive, and Purchase programs. For fiscal 2026, Copart generated $4.7 billion in revenues and $1.7 billion in operating income, with 81.6% of revenue from the U.S. segment and 18.4% from the International segment.
