American Tower leases space on its tower sites and other real estate to wireless carriers, broadcast operators, government agencies and other telecommunications infrastructure providers. The company also operates 30 data center facilities across 11 U.S. markets. American Tower generates revenue from both non-lease property revenue (from tenant rents) and services revenue (from site management and other services). The company is focused on connectivity infrastructure supporting wireless, cloud and AI demand, with emphasis on developed markets, operational efficiency, capital discipline and shareholder value creation.
