As of January 31, 2026, the company operated 1,904 Ross stores in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico, and 363 dd's DISCOUNTS stores in 22 states. Ross is the largest off-price apparel and home fashion chain in the United States, offering first-quality, in-season, brand name and designer apparel, accessories, footwear, and home fashions at savings of 20% to 60% off department and specialty store regular prices. dd's DISCOUNTS features moderately-priced first-quality apparel, accessories, footwear, and home fashions at savings of 20% to 70% off moderate department and discount store prices. Both brands target value-driven customers through opportunistic buying strategies, tightly managed inventory, and merchandise assortments organized for convenient in-store shopping. The company's merchandise offerings include apparel, footwear, home accents and furniture, beauty, bed and bath, accessories, gourmet food, toys, luggage, pet accessories, electronics, jewelry, watches, and cookware. The company purchases merchandise directly from manufacturers and through off-price buying techniques including advance-of-season, in-season, and past-season purchases. Distribution operates through large, highly automated distribution centers and regional cross-dock facilities to support merchandise flow to stores three to six times weekly.
