Company Overview

Moderna is a pioneer and leader in the field of mRNA medicine. Through the advancement of its technology platform, the company is reimagining how medicines are made to transform how we treat and prevent diseases. Since its founding, Moderna's mRNA platform has enabled the development of vaccine and therapeutic candidates across infectious disease, oncology, rare disease and more. With a global team and unique culture, driven by company values and mindsets, Moderna's mission is to deliver the greatest possible impact to people through mRNA medicines. The company currently has three commercial products: Spikevax and mNEXSPIKE (COVID vaccines) and mRESVIA (RSV vaccine). In 2025, Moderna achieved total revenue of $1.9 billion, largely from sales of its COVID vaccines. Beyond commercial products, Moderna continues to demonstrate the potential of its platform technology and is advancing a pipeline of development candidates across oncology, rare disease and infectious disease, including intismeran autogene in collaboration with Merck for melanoma and other tumor types, as well as candidates in seasonal flu, norovirus, propionic acidemia, and methylmalonic acidemia. Since 2022, the company has streamlined its production sites into a global manufacturing network to support new product launches and multi-year collaborations, including Moderna-built and managed facilities in the UK, Canada and Australia.
