Company Overview

Viatris Inc. is a global pharmaceutical company formed through the combination of Mylan N.V. with Pfizer's Upjohn business in November 2020. The company develops, manufactures, and distributes a diverse portfolio of branded medicines and generic drugs across four reportable segments: Developed Markets, Emerging Markets, Japan, Australia and New Zealand (JANZ), and Greater China. In 2025, Viatris sold more than 70 billion doses of medicine across more than 165 countries and territories. The company's approach bridges the traditional divide between generics and brands, combining the strengths of both to address healthcare needs globally. The company's business includes established brands such as Lipitor, Norvasc, Lyrica, EpiPen, Viagra, Creon, and Celebrex, as well as a significant generics portfolio. Viatris also maintains an innovative pipeline with late-stage and in-market growth assets sourced both internally and externally. The company operates manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide and serves retail and pharmacy establishments, wholesalers, governments, institutions, and physicians. In 2025, Viatris delivered total revenues of $14.3 billion, returned over $1 billion to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases, and completed 60 regional transactions including the acquisition of Aculys Pharma in Japan.
