Grainger, Inc., incorporated in Illinois in 1928, is a broad-line distributor of maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) products and services with operations primarily in North America, Japan and the United Kingdom. The company serves more than 4.6 million customers worldwide through two reportable business segments: High-Touch Solutions North America, which provides value-added MRO solutions rooted in deep product knowledge and customer expertise for customers with complex buying needs; and Endless Assortment, which provides a streamlined and transparent online platform with one-stop shopping for millions of products through Zoro Tools, Inc. and MonotaRO Co., Ltd. The High-Touch Solutions N.A. segment offers approximately 2 million products and services including technical support and inventory management (KeepStock). The Endless Assortment segment offers approximately 13 million products through Zoro and approximately 29 million products through MonotaRO. Grainger's supply chain infrastructure includes distribution centers and branches globally, with more than 5,000 primary suppliers providing over 1.5 million products stocked in distribution centers. The company serves customers ranging from smaller businesses to large corporations, government entities and institutions across industries including commercial, healthcare, and manufacturing.
