Company Overview
GE Aerospace operates as a global leader in propulsion, services and systems. The company operates through two reportable segments: Commercial Engines & Services (CES) and Defense & Propulsion Technologies (DPT). The CES business represents the industry's most extensive commercial propulsion fleet with an installed base of approximately 50,000 engines across widebody and narrowbody platforms, serving nearly 1 million people flying at any given time with GE Aerospace and partners' technology. In 2025, CES generated $33.3 billion in revenue, 75% of which was through services. The company secured the largest widebody engine order in its history with Qatar Airways for more than 400 GEnx and GE9X engines and delivered approximately 1,450 LEAP-1A durability kits. The DPT segment delivers leading defense programs and comprises Defense & Systems and Propulsion & Additive Technologies businesses. GE Aerospace's military installed base of approximately 30,000 engines powers a variety of defense platforms globally, including two-thirds of all U.S. military combat and helicopter fleets. In 2025, DPT generated $10.6 billion in revenue. The company operates through its proprietary lean operating model, FLIGHT DECK, which prioritizes safety, quality, delivery and cost.
