Charter Communications, Inc. is a leading broadband connectivity company with services available to 58 million homes and small to large businesses across 41 states through its Spectrum® brand. Founded in 1993, the company provides subscription-based Internet, mobile, video, and voice services, along with advertising solutions. Charter offers Spectrum Internet products with speeds up to 1 gigabit per second across its entire footprint and multi-gigabit speeds in portions of its footprint, with plans to offer symmetrical and multi-gigabit speeds across the entire footprint in the coming years. The company's Spectrum Mobile service offers 5G access without contracts, and its video offerings include approximately 375 channels available in-home and out-of-home. Charter also operates Spectrum Business, providing scalable broadband communications solutions for small, mid-market and large businesses, as well as Spectrum Reach, its advertising sales division offering local, regional and national advertising opportunities. The company's network evolution plan includes spectrum expansion, high-split technology, Distributed Access Architecture (DAA), and DOCSIS 4.0 technology. Since 2022, Charter has invested $7.7 billion in subsidized rural construction initiatives, activating approximately 1.3 million passings. The company employs 100% U.S.-based employees and operates a fiber-powered network infrastructure across geographically diverse areas managed on a consolidated level.
