The company operates across more than 200 countries and territories and processed 329 billion payments and cash transactions during fiscal 2025. Visa's services include credit, debit, and prepaid payment products; data processing and transaction services; international transaction processing; value-added services including Issuing Solutions, Acceptance Solutions, Risk and Security Solutions, and Advisory and Other Services. The company does not issue cards, extend credit, or set rates and fees; instead, it earns revenue through service fees, data processing fees, international transaction fees, and license fees. Visa's business model is built on its advanced technology platform, global network connectivity, brand strength, and partnerships with financial institutions and merchants worldwide.
